The journey of every lot
Green tea is a matter of precise steps. Here is what a lot goes through before it reaches your warehouse.

Plucking
Young shoots are harvested in spring, when the leaf is at its most aromatic.

Fixing
The leaves are heated to stop oxidation and keep their green colour.

Rolling
Rolled into an “eyebrow” for Chunmee or a tight pearl for Gunpowder.

Sorting & grading
The tea is dried, sieved and graded: 41022, 4011, 9371, 3505.

Tasting
Every lot is tasted and matched against the sample approved by the customer.

Packing & export
Boxed or bulk, container loading and export documents.
